On Thursday 12 April 2018, voters in Little Downham and Pymoor took to the polls to vote in the Little Downham Parish By-Election.

The count venue was the Little Downham Village Centre, Main Street, Little Downham.

The turnout was announced as 27.32%. 

At 11.07pm, the Returning Officer, John Hill, declared the count totals, which are as follows:  

The total number of ballot paper counted was 979

The number of votes cast in favour of Andrew Lloyd Butcher - 236

The number of votes cast in favour of Richard Alan Maxey - 316

The number of votes cast in favour of Dale Roger Parson – 243

The number of votes cast in favour of Ross John Taylor - 184

The total number of rejected ballot papers was 4.

The winning candidates are confirmed as Richard Alan Maxey and Dale Roger Parson.
