The District Council does not provide a pest control treatment service, however Officers are available to provide advice about a wide range of pests and how to control them, and they can be contacted on 01353 665555. We have also developed a host of information leaflets which are shown below:

If you have a problem with rats, mice, fleas, wasps, bedbugs, cockroaches or any other type of pest then you are advised to arrange for a private company to undertake treatment for you, details of which are shown in the yellow pages.
If you require general information or advice about any type of pest, in the first instance please refer to one of the relevant information leaflets below which advise on the most common form of pests found. Alternatively if you have found a pest and don't know what it is, or how to treat it, Officers within the Domestic Team of Environmental Health may be able to identify this for you and provide you with advice on treatment options.
For more information, please contact the Environmental Health Team by telephone on - 01353-665555, or by emailing Customer Services.
