Haddenham and Aldreth Neighbourhood Plan

Plan agreed: 20 October 2022

Haddenham and Aldreth Neighbourhood Plan has been formally agreed and now forms part of the East Cambridgeshire Development Plan, alongside the Local Plan and other Neighbourhood Plans, and will be used to help make planning decisions in the parish. This follows a successful referendum outcome on 29 September 2022, and the subsequent 'making' (or adopting) of the Plan by East Cambridgeshire District Council on 20 October 2022. The final Plan, and other background material, can be found in the table below.

Further information on the referendum result can be found via our election pages

Background

On 13 April 2022, Haddenham Parish Council formally submitted its Neighbourhood Plan to East Cambridgeshire District Council for independent examination. The draft Haddenham and Aldreth Neighbourhood Plan and accompanying submission documents are available to download from the document library below. A paper copy of the final Haddenham and Aldreth Neighbourhood Plan is available for inspection at East Cambridgeshire District Council's customer service centre during normal opening times

East Cambridgeshire District Council invited comments on the draft Haddenham and Aldreth Neighbourhood Plan from 14 April to 31 May 2022. Thank you to all those who responded. Representations received during the plan's publication are available to download below. After the consultation period closed, an Independent Examiner considered the Plan and the representations received. The Examiner's Report is available below.

The final Plan, once adjusted for the Examiner's recommendations, underwent a successful local referendum in September 2022, and the Plan subsequently approved in October 2022.
