Use this service if you have applied to the EU Settlement Scheme and you have changed your:
- mobile phone number
- email address

- UK address
Your details must be up-to-date so you can view and prove your rights to others, for example employers or landlords.
You must also use this service if you are waiting for a decision and you have changed your email address or phone number. If you do not provide the correct contact details you may not get your decision.
You cannot update your identity document or name if you are still waiting for your decision.
Before you start
You will need the details of the identity document you used when you applied to the EU Settlement Scheme, unless you have already updated it using this service. This will be one of the following:
- passport
- national identity card
- biometric residence card (BRC)
You will get a security code to confirm your identity. This will be sent to the email or mobile number you used in your application, unless you have already updated it using this service.
What you need to know
If you have got a new identity document you will need to send this in the post - you will be told where to send it in the service.
