Annual Monitoring Report

The Council assesses the performance of policies of the Local Plan to ensure they remain effective and relevant by monitoring key indicators relating to housing, employment and other development. Findings are published in the Annual Monitoring Report (AMR). The current AMR which covers the monitoring period 01 April 2015 to 31 March 2016, and reports from previous years, are available to view and download using the links below.

Housing Land Supply Statement

National planning policy requires the Council to maintain a supply of land suitable and available for housing development.

The Five Year Housing Land Supply Statement (Jan 2017) calculates the amount of land currently available for housing development, and can be downloaded using the link below.  The previous East Cambridgeshire Housing Supply Paper (2015) is also provided for reference.

Local Development Scheme and Live Update

The Local Development Scheme (LDS) sets out the timetable for preparing the Local Plan and other relevant planning documents.

On 16th July 2015, Full Council agreed that a review of the Local Plan should commence. The Local Development Scheme ( LDS) agreed 16th July 2015 outlines the programme for the preparation of a new Local Plan and is available for download below.

Every month we produce a 'Live Update'.  This update provides the latest information on the progress of the emerging East Cambridgeshire Local Plan.
