Community right to challenge

The Localism Act 2011 introduces the 'Community Right to Challenge' which enables certain organisations (known as 'relevant bodies') to express an interest in running a local authority service or services.  East Cambridgeshire District Council has developed a 'Community Right to Challenge Protocol'  which outlines the process for those relevant bodies to exercise the Community Right to Challenge by submitting an Expression of Interest (EoI) in providing or assisting in providing a service on behalf of East Cambridgeshire District Council (ECDC).  The full Protocol can be downloaded using the link below:
