Street Naming and Numbering Charges
From 1st April 2010 East Cambridgeshire District Council will be charging for the street naming and numbering service.
Draft Soham Masterplan Vision Public Consultation
East Cambridgeshire District Council is in the final stages of preparing a masterplan for the town of Soham. The masterplan has been developed over the past 18 months including two previous events on issues and options. The consultation process for the draft masterplan is now open until the 31st March and there are a number of ways that members of the public can give their feedback.

Sustainable Community Strategy Public Consultation
The East Cambridgeshire Strategic Partnership (ECSP) is currently developing the new Sustainable Community Strategy for launch in April 2011. In order for the new strategy to be a leading and influencing document for the area it is important that the document contain the key aspirations of all local partner organisations and the community.
The consultation process is now opwn until the 20th May 2010 and there are a number of ways that members of the public can give their feedback.

CCTV Contracts
East Cambridgeshire District Council is offering invitations to tender for the following contracts for the Ely and Soham CCTV scheme: CCTV Monitoring Contract and CCTV Installation and Transmission Contract.
Community Governance Review
ECDC are conducting a community governance review for Kennett parish council under the Local Government and Public Health Involvement Act, 2007.
New Local Transport Plan
Cambridgeshire County Council has just begun the process of developing a new Local Transport Plan (LTP) for the County. The LTP sets out the county's existing and future transport issues and aspirations and how it seeks to address them. From 11 January to the 9th April 2010 residents and stakeholders will be asked for their views on the objectives and strategy areas of the new plan.
