East Cambridgeshire District Council has set out a new strategy to tackle long-term empty homes and bring more properties back into use for local residents.
Hundreds of buildings, structures, archaeological sites and landscapes which residents feel help make East Cambridgeshire special have now been documented for the first time.
A grand total of 75 oak trees are in the process of being planted across 20 locations in East Cambridgeshire, thanks to support from parish councils, schools, nurseries and landowners.
Businesses across East Cambridgeshire are being encouraged to consider the benefits of apprenticeships as part of the council’s drive to mark Apprenticeship Week (5 February to 11 February).
