Bin collection days

Possible changes to collection days

From 1 June 2026 there will be some changes to the days bins are collected for some residents. This is because we are using different lorries and different crews to collect the different types of waste and recycling.  

If you are affected by a change of bin collection day, we will notify you well in advance to give you time to prepare.

When we will collect your new bins

We will collect bins on a two-week cycle as follows:

Rubbish and garden waste week:  

  • black wheeled rubbish bin
  • garden waste only in your green lidded bin
  • food waste caddy 

Recycling week:

  • recycling including soft plastics in your blue lidded bin  
  • food waste caddy
