Waste collections
Owing to the hot weather for the rest of this week our collection crews will be starting earlier in the morning. Please make sure your waste and recycling is presented at the boundary of your property by 6am on your collection day.
Check it is the right property for you
Before you make any commitments it is important to make sure the property meets your requirements:
Location
Ensure that you are aware of the following:
- transport links
- amenities – for example, shops, schools and doctors
Condition of the property
Ensure that you consider things like:
- mould and condensation
- fire hazards
- unsafe doors, windows or fencing
- blocked drains
- over-grown garden
We are committed to ensuring every home in our district is safe and healthy and we will not tolerate unsafe housing conditions where homes are unfit for human habitation.
