Food premises

Any food premises must be in good repair and condition and meet minimum standards, including adequate hand-washing facilities, hygienic work surfaces and storage facilities.

If you are changing the use of a building you may require Planning Permission and/or Building Control.

Ely Markets  

If you wish to trade on any of Ely’s markets then you will need to speak to Ely Markets.

Food at events

Food supplied, sold, or provided at charity or community events, such as street parties, school fetes or fundraisers, must comply with food law and be safe to eat. See our food at events page for more information. 

Allergens
