Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF)

The Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) is funded by the UK Government and runs until 31 March 2029.

The fund helps people in East Cambridgeshire feel more in control of their finances and better able to manage changes in their circumstances.

The CRF replaces the previous Household Support Fund and consists of three strands of support:

  1. Crisis Payment Fund
  2. Building Resilience Fund
  3. Community Quick Response Fund

We also offer a free and confidential drop-in service at the East Cambridgeshire District Council offices, Nutholt Lane, Ely on Mondays to Fridays, from 10am to 4pm.

Higher levels of support

If you require a higher level of financial support, you can apply for the Crisis and Resilience Fund Small Grants which awards up to £4,750.

Other funding

Help with housing payments

East Cambridgeshire District Council administers Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) Housing Payments - which replaced traditional Discretionary Housing Payments (DHPs) - through the Anglia Revenues Partnership.

Help with heating oil costs

You may be able to get financial help for heating oil through the Oil Crisis and Resilience Fund administered by the Cambridgeshire Community Foundation.
