You may hear from us with an offer of support
We use the Low Income Family Tracker, known as LIFT, to help identify households that may be at risk of financial hardship or may not be receiving all the support available to them. This helps us offer support sooner, before a difficult situation becomes a crisis.
If we contact you, it does not mean we have made assumptions about your circumstances or that you have done anything wrong. It simply means our information suggests you may benefit from knowing about advice or support that could be available.
It is entirely your choice whether to speak to us or accept any support. If you do, our team will handle the conversation sensitively and confidentially. If you choose not to engage, we will respect that decision.
How we use your information
We use information only where there is an appropriate basis for doing so and handle it in line with data protection law and Council policies. Access is limited to authorised staff who need it to offer or provide support.
For more information about the data used, why it is used, how long it is kept and your rights, read our privacy notice. If you have questions or want to check that a message is genuinely from the Council, contact us using the details on this page.
The Low Income Family Tracker is a tool used to identify people who are eligible for benefit support who are not currently receiving it. The LIFT programme is delivered in partnership with Cambridgeshire County Council through the Crisis and Resilience Fund, with funding from the UK Government.
