East Cambridgeshire District Council’s community bus will be on tour throughout the district next week to offer residents advice on housing, welfare benefits, debt and money, energy, consumer rights, work, family and health.
Landlords, property owners, businesses and community groups are being given the opportunity to apply for up to £20,000 worth of funding to improve the front of buildings or the general appearance of Ely city centre.
Specialist Warm Hubs will be operated from community buildings across East Cambridgeshire to support vulnerable and isolated people, as well as those on lower incomes this winter.
