To help the Council meet the high expectations of our residents and continue the delivery of an excellent service to the public, East Cambs Trading Company have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Tree Surveyor to join our growing Arboriculture team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Tree Surveyor with a solid understanding of arboriculture and tree risk management. You will carry out tree surveys/inspections across the East Cambridgeshire District Council trees and for our commercial clients. 

Experience of using onsite tree inspection software and working in public areas, is essential. This role involves lots of walking, so a high level of fitness is required, you will also be driving on a daily basis.

You will make accurate records and work to strict guidance and timescales, so strong attention to detail and time management skills are also major requirements of the role.

The successful candidate will have the LANTRA Professional Tree Inspection qualification (or equivalent) and a minimum of a L4 qualification in Arboriculture.

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4.00pm and Friday 8:00am to 3.30pm, full-time or part-time hours will be considered.
