Details of our PAT testing schedules and requirements

Please provide the following information:
Electrical Testing – EICR, PAT, Emergency lighting, and Lightning protection services
• Current Contract Status: Start and end dates of the current contracts.
• Specific department or person responsible for managing these contracts
• Contract Scope: A general overview of the services covered, such as routine inspections, testing (e.g., to BS EN 62305 standards), and remedial repairs.

• Contract started 03/01/24 and ends 04/01/29.
• Open Spaces & Facilities manages the contract.
• Covers both reactive and planned electrical works at all Council owned properties and open spaces. Includes a programme of fixed electrical testing at all our sites and annual emergency light tests. We have no contract in place for PAT testing as this is done by a member of our staff.
The contractor is required to be NECEI or NAPIT registered and comply with BS7671:2018+A12020 IET / IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition, BS5266 Parts 1 – 10 also BS EN 50172 – Code of practice for emergency lighting.
Scope of works includes domestic, industrial and 3 phase. The contractor has to work within the Council’s 9 public toilets, 2 Traveller sites and sewage treatment compounds all unsupervised.
The contractor provides support 24/7 and responds to emergency callouts within 3/4 – 1 hour where business continuity or health is affected.
