Housing Enforcement Staffing Levels

1.The total number of officers that work within housing enforcement for the local authority
2.How many Environmental Health Officers work for the local authority whose main job is to enforce standards in the private rented sector? (Full Time)
3.How many officers within the housing enforcement team are employed to resolve tenancy disputes, provide guidance to tenants, ensure that tenancy rights are upheld, and/or prevent homelessness
4.If the local authority plans to recruit additional staff for housing enforcement in the next 12 months.

1.Two FTE working on housing enforcement which sits within the Environmental Health Team (made up of 0.3 FTE SEHO, 0.1 FTE EHO, 1 FTE Housing Compliance Officer and 0.6 FTE Technical Officer).
2. One FTE Housing Compliance Officer and 0.6 FTE Technical Officer
3. Five housing options officers, one housing options team leader and one tenancy sustainment officer which also incorporates court officer role.
4. Plans underway to support one additional student Environmental Health Practitioner role, who will focus on Housing.
