  • Black bags (refuse) are collected weekly. Recycling bins (blue lidded) are collected fortnightly. Garden / Food Waste bins (green lidded) are collected fortnightly. The black bag and blue or green bin are collected on the same day.
    • Yes, please see: New bin service | East Cambridgeshire District Council
    • There is no limit to the number of black bags (refuse) that we currently collect. For Recycling and Garden waste, we provide one bin and do not take side waste. However, residents can request additional bins for a fee, please see: What we collect - Blue lidded bins | What we collect | East Cambridgeshire District Council and What we collect - Green lidded bins | What we collect | East Cambridgeshire District Council
    • We currently do not restrict waste and therefore have no additional capacity exemption in place. When we launch our new service, this will change, and we have invited residents to apply proactively. To date, a total of 379 requests for a larger residual bin have been approved.
