Bereavement centre

Finishing touches are being made to Lake View Bereavement Centre which is set to officially open to the public in September marking the beginning of a new chapter in bereavement care for East Cambridgeshire and the surrounding area.

The public consultation for the Lake View Bereavement Centre Environmental Permit is now live.

The construction of Lake View Bereavement Centre, which will offer cremation and natural burials near to Mepal, has officially reached the halfway mark.

The bereavement centre near Mepal has now been officially named as Lake View.

Leading contractor Kier has officially signed a contract with East Cambridgeshire District Council to deliver its new bereavement centre near Mepal.

Work is to start on East Cambridgeshire’s first state of the art bereavement centre.

A full business plan to build a state-of-the-art ecological bereavement centre alongside a beautiful lakeside setting at Mepal is to go before East Cambridgeshire District Councillors.
