Waste collections
Owing to the hot weather for the rest of this week our collection crews will be starting earlier in the morning. Please make sure your waste and recycling is presented at the boundary of your property by 6am on your collection day.
Coach parking
Ely’s city centre can easily be reached via the A10 Cambridge to King’s Lynn and by following the brown visitors signs upon reaching your destination.
We encourage coach drivers to use the drop off and pick up points either:
- in front of Ely Tourist Information Centre at Oliver Cromwell's House, St Mary's Street, CB7 4HF
- in front of the Cathedral at The Gallery, CB7 4DH
- at Barton Road car park at Barton Road, CB7 4HZ
Please be aware that these bays are limited to a 15 minute stay. Public toilets are in close proximity to all drop off points.
Free coach parking is located at Ellgia Football Club, Downham Road, Ely, CB6 2SH which is approximately five minutes from the city centre.
There are a number of food outlets and toilets available.
