It is important to let us know as soon as possible if you are moving house or if your circumstances have changed, which may affect your benefits or the amount of Council Tax you pay.

Change of circumstances
Report a change of circumstances
Some changes of circumstance will affect the amount of Council Tax you need to pay.
If we help you with your rent and /or your Council Tax you are also legally bound to advise us if any of your circumstances change.
Examples of changes in circumstances include:
- changing who you live with
- changes to your employment status
- changes to your income, for example, if you inherit money
- if your needs change because of health reasons or a relationship breakdown
- your bank details change
- if you go into a hospital, a hospice, a nursing home or a care home
