Waste collections
Owing to the hot weather for the rest of this week our collection crews will be starting earlier in the morning. Please make sure your waste and recycling is presented at the boundary of your property by 6am on your collection day.
Business parking permit scheme
A business parking permit is available to businesses based in Ely registered for business rates, who require access to our long stay car parks prior to 8:30am, avoiding early morning parking restrictions.
The business parking permit scheme starts 1 April and expires 31 March.

To make a payment, please send a cheque to Customer Services, East Cambridgeshire District Council, Nutholt Lane, Ely, Cambridgeshire, CB7 4EE or contact Customer Services on 01353 665555.
A maximum of 4 permits can be issued per business and are charged on an annual basis:
- 1 permit - £50
- 2 permits - £105
- 3 permits - £165
- 4 permits - £235
