Volunteer tree warden scheme

We participate in the Tree Council's national Tree Warden Scheme.

The scheme enables volunteers, nominated by parish councils, to play an active role in conserving and enhancing their local trees and woodland.

In East Cambridgeshire, there are currently 18 volunteer tree wardens in 13 of our parishes and we’re always looking for new volunteers.

To find out more about the scheme and how you can get involved, please visit the Tree Council or contact our trees team using our enquiry form.
