An Ely “man with a van” who transported household waste without the correct licence that was later found in a lay-by outside Witchford has been fined £440 and ordered to pay £654 towards costs and compensation.
Cambridgeshire County Council has confirmed items such as upholstered sofas, upholstered chairs, cushions and beanbags can now be accepted at Cambridgeshire County Council-owned household waste and recycling centres, such as the one at Witchford.
