Write down and keep in a safe place the emergency numbers for your:

  • landlord or mortgage company
  • plumber
  • electrician
  • next of kin

If you are renting your landlord can get your Universal Credit housing element paid directly to them. They can do this online, or just come and speak to a member of the council’s housing team who will be able to help them do this.
