Youth spaces and activities

Whether it is finding a safe space to hang out, a youth club, discovering a new sporting activity or volunteering, we can help signpost you to some great places and opportunities.

Hive Leisure Centre, Ely

Teenagers are invited to take over The Hive Leisure Centre on the Ely Leisure Park from 4:45pm to 6pm every Friday.

The unstructured youth-led sport and activity sessions are for anyone aged 11 to 16 and will be facilitated by qualified sports coaches.

They are being organised by Living Sport as part of an initiative to make community facilities more accessible for young people, at a time when they are currently not being used.

Each session costs £2.00.

The Cambridgeshire Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme

The Cambridgeshire Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme offers holiday scheme places for free during the Easter, summer and Christmas school holidays to eligible primary and secondary school children and young people.

Families receiving income-related free school meals, newly arrived refugee families and families who are struggling financially, are eligible. Families who meet one of the eligibility criteria should contact their school for further information or email the HAF Team.

Participating summer holiday schemes offer up to 64 hours attendance for no charge. Every scheme provides a healthy lunch and snacks, along with a variety of fun experiences. Please see below for further details:
