Business Growth Fund
The Business Growth Fund makes grants of up to £30,000 available to businesses to help them grow and increase employment opportunities in East Cambridgeshire.

High Street Renewal Fund
We have allocated funds from our Market Towns Programme towards a grant scheme that supports projects in Ely, Soham and Littleport town centres.
This scheme is specifically designed to enable bids to be made for capital funding to enable improvements to the frontages of buildings or the general appearance of Soham and Littleport town centres.

Energy Efficiency financing
The Carbon Trust is an independent company funded by government. Its role is to help the UK move to a low carbon economy by helping businesses and the public sector reduce carbon emissions now, and capture the commercial opportunities of low carbon technologies. They offer leases, loans and other financing options. New, more efficient equipment should lower energy bills and with payments calculated so that they are offset by the anticipated energy savings, the financing option is designed to pay for itself.

Loans
Start-Up Loans provide government-backed personal loans for business purposes. They are available to individuals over the age of 18 who are eligible to start a business in the UK. Generally, loans of up to £25,000 are available at a fixed-rate of interest and are repayable over 1 to 5 years.
