WorkWell is a free service that helps people with health conditions or disabilities find or keep a job.
It's part of the UK government's response to the increasing number of people out of work due to ill health.
What WorkWell does
Workwell:
- helps people to start a new job
- helps people to stay in their current role
- helps people return to work after an absence
- matches people with a work and health coach
- helps people overcome barriers to employment
- connects people with local support services
People eligible for WorkWell
- people with long-term health conditions, mental health or MSK issues or disabilities
- people on long-term sick leave who might benefit from a supported return to work
- people whose health might improve through appropriate, supported employment
How WorksWell works
Work and health coaches work with people to establish what they need help with, overcome barriers and connect people with the right local support.
