Licensing Administration Assistant

Post number: LIC001

Grade 3 - £26,835 to £29,093 per annum plus benefits

We are passionate about providing high-quality services to our communities, residents and businesses. This means we must employ and retain the most talented and dedicated people.

Situated in the heart of Cambridgeshire just 20 minutes north of Cambridge, East Cambridgeshire is a beautiful district that boasts thriving market towns and many attractive villages, each with its own identity. We are an innovative and forward-thinking local authority whose residents and businesses are at the heart of our decision-making.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Licensing Team on a full-time basis to support us with our taxi licensing obligations. You will be part of a small, but expanding team, and will report directly to the Licensing Manager. This is a chance to really make an impact, learn new skills, and be part of a supportive and effective team.

We are looking for an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills. You will be experienced in using Microsoft Office, and will be self-motivated, confident, and proactive, and have a good attention to detail. You will have some previous administrative experience and be able to manage your own workload with minimal supervision to meet multiple deadlines.

Having a good general knowledge surrounding the concepts and principles of licensing administration would be helpful, but we're committed to finding the right person, and to this end, an experienced administrator with an interest in licensing would also thrive in this role.
