East Cambridgeshire District Council is committed to the highest standards of accountability and is seeking an independent person to serve on its Audit Committee in a drive to ensure that the Council meets this aspiration.

The independent person will work alongside the elected councillors on the Committee and will have a critical role to play in ensuring that the Council has robust governance and systems in place. Amongst its roles the Audit Committee reviews the Authority’s financial affairs, risk management, internal control and corporate governance arrangements.
