Office-based with occasional site travel
Are you an organised, detail-focused administrator who enjoys making systems work effectively?
We are looking for a proactive Grounds Maintenance Office Administrator to provide essential administrative, compliance and data support to our Grounds Maintenance and Tree Services.
You will also take day-to-day ownership of our bespoke Parks & Open Spaces operational management system, ensuring information is accurate, current and reliable. Working with managers, field teams, contractors, suppliers and service providers, you will help us meet statutory, contractual and operational requirements through effective record keeping, monitoring and reporting.
About you
You will be a confident and methodical administrator with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. You will be comfortable working independently, using initiative and communicating professionally with a wide range of internal and external contacts.
- Experience of using databases or management information systems, with confidence learning bespoke software
- A systematic approach to data management, record keeping and document control
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- The ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy and confidentiality
Experience in compliance, asset management, facilities, grounds maintenance or another operational environment would be an advantage. Familiarity with health and safety compliance, contractor coordination, management reporting, GIS, telematics or arboriculture systems would also be welcome.
Working arrangements
The role is primarily office-based, with occasional travel to operational sites, meetings, inspections or contractor appointments. You must be able to travel as required. A full induction into the software platform and relevant operational procedures will be provided, together with ongoing training and support.
