Customer Services Advisor

Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service? Do you enjoy working with the public and providing help and support to customers?

Working primarily over the telephone, you will be at the heart of our customer service, providing a friendly, professional and efficient service and resolving enquiries at the first point of contact wherever possible. You will also support customers face-to-face at our reception desk, as well as responding to email and online enquiries. You will use council systems to log customer interactions and undertake associated administrative tasks, with full training provided.

With previous experience in a similar role and a good understanding of customer service, you will have excellent listening, communication, interpersonal and keyboard skills. You will bring a positive, “can-do” attitude and a flexible, proactive approach to your work.

Working collaboratively as part of a team, you will help ensure our front-facing service is delivered effectively and that our customers consistently receive an excellent level of service.

This role is office based. The hours of work are 37 per week, to be worked 8:45am – 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am – 4.30pm on Friday.
