Residents, businesses and other stakeholders across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough are being asked for their views on the future of local government.
Situated in the beautiful cathedral city of Ely, East Cambridgeshire is a largely rural district which covers an area of almost 65,500 hectares and has a population of approximately 85,000. A true gem in the heart of the Cambridgeshire countryside, which has an attractive and thriving centre that boasts an impressive range of retail, leisure, residential and educational amenities.
We have an ambitious vision to create a better, brighter East Cambridgeshire. One that responds to residents’ needs, adopts a digital first approach, helps protect and enhance our environment and is financially sustainable.
