People who have skips in their gardens or at business premises are warned to be extra vigilant after thieves stole a skip and fly-tipped the contents.
The large mound of rubbish was found dumped on the Grunty Fen Catchwater By-way off White Cross Road, between Wilburton and Little Thetford on Friday, 14 February.
The fly-tip has been reported to East Cambridgeshire District Council and the police who are investigating the incident and will clear the rubbish.
Cllr Julia Huffer, said: “Skips are valuable items, sought for their weight in metal. We advise anyone who is currently using a skip to be mindful of access to the skip particularly at business premises overnight to prevent theft.”
