There has been a reduction in the number of Councillors representing the district, from 39 down to 28. This means the number of Wards has also been reduced to 14 (from 19). There have also been a number of boundary changes. This means that a lot of electors' properties have been moved into different polling districts (and consequently these electors will have to use different polling stations).
