Game On: Escape Rooms Craze set to storm Ely

Reference:

A fast-growing craze that sees members of the public locked in a room and asked to solve puzzles to escape is set to storm Ely.

A pop up Escape Room, which is an immersive interactive experience, and which has been referred to as a real-life Crystal Maze, is being launched in Oliver Cromwell’s House.

Groups of between four to eight people will be arrested and imprisoned by Cromwell’s men and given an hour to find the clues, solve the riddles and crack the code to locate a golden key.

This tailor made experience has been arranged in collaboration with Ipswich based Puzzle Master and will be run on the first weekend of each month from September through to December.

Tracey Harding, Manager at Oliver Cromwell’s House said “This is the perfect activity to celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary or just an excuse for a memorable experience.  Oliver Cromwell’s House provides the perfect backdrop for this bespoke Escape Room challenge.”

Escape Room experiences have been introduced to countries across the world and involve teamwork, logic, problem solving and communication.

Sessions at Oliver Cromwell’s House are priced at £80 and are suited to groups of between four and eight people.

Bookings are now being taken for the first weekend of each month from September to December.
